Waterfront House Cozy Bar Area and Arcade Games

Unhappy guest. Had to move accommodation. 1. The listing pictures don’t match the reality. The images make the property look bright and fresh. It’s tired and tatty, especially the deck and outdoor area. Inside was very dark and dingy. 2. The patio around the pool is uneven, not ideal for kids or grandparents. 3. No lighting on the deck which caused me to fall down a hole in the deck and badly injure my ankle. 4. Only two sun loungers for a house that sleeps 8. one sun lounger is ok; the other is broken; and two wooden stool at the tiki bar are literally on their last legs and about to break. 5. AC didn’t work for 2 nights. 6. Bedroom 2 fan didn’t work, neither did the lounge. 7. Massive dip in master bedroom bed, so uncomfortable! 8. Bedroom two bed makes a racket if you move slightly making for an impossible night sleep. Suggest bed coasters might help stop it moving round. 9. Cupboard door hanging off in kitchen. 10. First and foremost the host were so sweet and generous! However the pictures online vs how the place looks in person was definitely different as far as it looking more polished and new in the pictures but in person. There were wall stains and the bathroom was a bit dated we had to wear shower shoes cause it didn’t seem the cleanest. The outside area looked older as well not as polished as the photos. Once they came and cleaned the pool on the 2nd to last day of our stay it looked better. We made it work and most importantly felt SAFE ! Just some minor things we had noticed but again the host were so nice and sweet and very welcoming!

We paid nearly $3,000 for this home expecting a clean, safe, and enjoyable stay, but it was one of the worst vacation rentals we've experienced. The home had multiple maintenance issues, including broken outlets, a non-working TV, broken fans, and unusable game room equipment. The pool was dirty, basic essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, garbage bags, and towels were missing, and the beds contained crumbs and dirt upon arrival. A member of our group was injured, yet there was no first aid kit. Even more concerning, the security system was nonfunctional because door sensors were hanging off and missing batteries, leaving our group of seven women feeling unsafe. We also lost over $400 in groceries during a seven-hour power outage while communication from the host was poor. The host promised private compensation if I didn't leave a review, but after more than 10 calls and texts, I've been completely ignored. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Very friendly host. Amazing place, the pool has lighting at night. The house is beautiful and very clean. I’ll definitely be booking it again in the future
